How long is it?

What are you thinking?

Well if you have been reading our blog then you know that I am referring to the great state of Tennessee. We have been in Tennessee almost as long as we were in our Pleasant Hill house...I exaggerate but still. The state is LONG. This morning on our continued drive in Tennessee we got to spend some time with our cousin Matthew at the Cracker Barrel which is right near Dollywood. It was nice to catch up with him and spend some time while having a nice breakfast. (Grits anyone? Also, we highly recommend the Hashbrown Casserole… “very tasting” in the words of Michelle Gilliam)

We continued through Tennessee and FINALLY we have arrived in Virginia. We found a good Pizza place called Grace's in Roanoke, VA and then continued our drive. We also stopped enroute to pick up some Halloween candy and decorations....of course we had to have some Halloween Flair. We wanted to make sure that if any kids came a knockin' while at the RV site we would be able to give it to them.....well when you arrive at 9:30...we didn’t have a lot of visitors...oh well. More candy for us.

Tomorrow we visit Natural Bridge, Monticello and our new home in Richmond. Almost there....

  1. You've been initiated!

    Cracker Barrel shiny food.

Wait til you try the hushpuppies (deep fried balls of goodness) and sweet tea (aka sugar with a drop of tea) :-)

Glad you made it safely and good luck in your new home!

Yep, the hashbrown casserole is delicious
